I began this blog nearly six years ago on August 23rd, 2019. In this blog I have worn my heart on my sleeve, shared my blunders, my weaknesses, my learning, my hopes, and best of all...I've shared my Jesus. What I have felt coming for some time now was that this blog is ending. I write that with tears in my eyes but with hope in my heart. I trust that the Lord has a reason for this and I trust in His wisdom and not my foolishness. Unless a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone - but if it dies - it brings forth much fruit (John 12:24).
I want to thank you - the reader, for journeying with me! Gosh, to know I'm not alone...you don't know what that meant for me. TEARS! I wished I could meet every single one of you and pray with you and praise with you. And I hope that day may yet still come. But until then, I leave with my parting advice:
1. You are in a war. So act like a warrior in battle. Head on a swivel - look around and pay close attention. We battle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness in high (and low) places. PRAY daily like your life depends on it. Prayer is the greatest weapon we have against the evil one. PRAY MORE. Buy books that teach you how to pray. Use prayers that work.
2. Jesus is ALL that you need. Stop focusing on Zion, or the Davidic Servant, or more perfect scriptures, special covenants or groups or whatever spiritual fixation we ALL get caught up in. Get caught up in HIM. He is ALL that you need. Moroni encouraged all of us to "...seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written." (Ether 12:41). Jesus is EVERYTHING! Seek after Him all the days of your life. And remember that your seeking Him will be opposed. You are in a war - so act like it. Suit up and prepare for battle.
I close with Nephi's words which I can say are also my words:
I glory in Plainness.
I glory in Truth.
I glory in my Jesus -
for he has redeemed my soul from hell.
Seek after these things.
Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit - bless these Your children to seek You with all their hearts and to desire nothing more than Your Son. Bless them! Seal my testimony of Your Son. That He LIVES. And He loves us. And He is waiting for us to return to Him at all times. That none of us are lost that will repent - that is to say to turn back from the road we've gone down and return back to the arms of the Father who is waiting and watching for us. I pray the choicest blessings and anointing all all who truly seek You. In Your name I pray Jesus. AMEN and AMEN.
